(Swedish) Record players with RIAA Group test - 6.6/10
The first impression was that Teac played with both drive and
weight in the impact, but also with a blunter, a bit jumpy
sound and narrower stereo feel. There was power and pulse, but
not nearly the same openness and distinctive stereo sharpness
as, for example, the Argon. It all depended on the pickup,
which had muscle, but couldn't take the turns and open up the
sound as much as, say, the AT-VM95. With that pickup, the
player's tactful playing style also became even clearer, but
the stereo image was also more spacious and the treble
airier.
