An exclusive vinyl
Due the pandemic, musicians all over the world struggled to keep themselves afloat so Teac and gigmit came up with the idea to launch an exclusive vinyl album titled ”Recording Tomorrow”, giving six talented artists a unique chance to showcase their music. Singers, songwriters and bands from all over the world took up the opportunity to provide one to three samples of their music to participate in the contest. In addition to a featured song, winners received a prize money of 1,000 €, TEAC equipment, free promotion and, of course, a close cooperation with a quality company that has the potential to catapult the music and artists in question to incredible heights. The limited records will eventually be distributed at IFA 2022 and as part of follower giveaways. However, they won’t be for sale.
Kidsø, unconventional & playful
Moritz Graßinger and Martin Schneider, two young locals from Germany and the people behind Kidsø, played at last week’s High End in Munich. Cables, synthesizers, drums and experiments – that’s all these guys need to create their unconventional organic sounds and melodies. Check out their winning song “Finja“.
Sean Haefeli, allround talent
Next up on the list is the talented, Berlin-based Sean Haefeli. The vocalist, emcee and pianist is very ambitious and debuted his first album in 2002. Sean’s a versatile vocals will be featured on the EP with his song “Balance“.
Meresha, rising star
The 25-year young songwriter Meresha has already come far with her music. She was in the Top 40 Billboard charts three times, and her videos enjoy international circulation, including on MTV properties. Go check out “Trouble“.
Tribe Mafia, a powerful duo
With 107k followers on Instagram, Chinasa Broxton and Carlos Dashawn Moore, also known as Tribe Mafia, are big shots in the music industry. The rap duo’s been performing for twelve years now and toured across the world with hip-hop legend Akon. Check out their music!
Keitu, an angelic voice
Music has always been a part of South African R&B, soul and musical theatre artist Keitumetse Molea, who now lives in London. She believes in the infinite power of music and life,saying : “Music is my refuge, it is my comfort”. Don’t miss her winning song “Ke Kamoo”.
Telegraph, punk rock with a modern twist
Back in 2016, Telegraph started their journey from a mere dream to the almost 8,000 monthly Spotify listeners they have now. The pop-rock band’s debut EP “Simple Drive” reached three million streams on all platforms, confirming its radiophonic potential. Check out their winning song “Down in the River“.
